This faculty is among the first two leading faculties at the Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, which is a foundation of academic excellence and research innovation. About faculty
The Faculty of Sciences is unmatched due to its highly qualified and experienced faculty members and fully equipped laboratories. In addition to catering to the demand of other faculties in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, its faculty are involved in active research collaborations within the faculty, among faculties, and with National and International institutions.
The achievements are the fruit of consistent efforts, but that has not made the brilliant manpower of this faculty sit back and rejoice. We are continuing on our path of recruiting quality faculty, developing excellent teaching facilities, and modernizing the laboratory facilities.
The faculty comprises eight departments, such as Botany, Biology, Zoology, Wildlife & Fisheries, Statistics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Eastern Medicine, designed to cater to the evolving needs of the scientific community. We offer a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs such as BS, BEMS, M. Phil. and PhDs. Our graduates are not only pursuing their advanced degrees in many National and International institutions but are also serving as faculty members and scientists in well-reputed centers of learning and research.
