The Department of Eastern Medicine is committed to delivering transformative education, integrative healthcare training, and translational research. Through its five-year Bachelor of Eastern Medicine (BEMS) program, the department aims to:

• Educate: Train competent, ethical, and skilled practitioners in Eastern Medicine equipped with modern diagnostic and therapeutic knowledge as per HEC’s minimum curriculum standards.
• Innovate: Conduct applied and translational research in medicinal plants and natural products, particularly indigenous flora, for drug discovery and nutraceuticals.
• Clinically Empower: Offer structured clinical rotations and internships in collaboration with affiliated hospitals and wellness centers as per HEC’s practical training requirements.
• Commercialize: Encourage entrepreneurship by supporting student-led herbal product start-ups, wellness clinics, and alternative health enterprises aligned with national innovation policies.
