Welcome to PMAS-Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. Being an Agricultural Institution, our main objective is to produce high quality Agricultural Scientists. Therefore, we are committed with the philosophy that we advance our farmer community by sharing positive and proven ideas and experiences. Along with Agricultural Sciences, the university offers degree programs at all levels in basic and Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Management Sciences, Computer Sciences and Information Technology.

PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, established in 1994, is dedicated to advancing dryland agriculture through quality education, research, and technology development. Strategically located between Rawalpindi and Islamabad, it offers diverse undergraduate and postgraduate programs across agriculture, sciences, social sciences, and veterinary studies.

PMAS-AAUR maintains a health unit with a qualified doctor and para-medical staff, providing first aid, basic diagnostics, and medication. The university plans to further expand this facility by adding a test laboratory and X-ray services.

The university offers on-campus accommodation through two boys hostels, Iqbal Hall and Jinnah Hall, housing around 500 students, along with a girls hostel, Fatima Jinnah Hall, accommodating around 500 female students.
