About Department
Department of Land & Water Conservation Engineering (DLWCE), Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, PMAS-AAU, Rawalpindi conducts research and offers courses in hydrology, irrigation and drainage, open channel hydraulics, fluid and soil mechanics, pumps and tube wells, GIS and CAD applications in water resources, climate change, soil and water conservation engineering, and water management. The DLWCE has been working on several projects in the areas of mathematical modelling for runoff and flood forecasting, regional flood and drought frequency analysis, estimation of climate and land use change impacts on the hydrological regimes, groundwater modelling, satellite-based hydro-climatic datasets, and water quality.
